Step 1: Place Your Plants Wisely

The watermelon thrower is placed as close to the middle as possible, as it can deal a relatively large range of damage. Things not to mess around with are ice mushrooms and fiery peppers. The ice mushrooms are useful to be able to defend against the fireballs spat out by Dr. Zombie. And the Fire Blast Pepper is able to clear the ice wagon.
